About

Founded in 2016, QCB is the only undergraduate quantum computing club at Berkeley. We aim to support students on their journey towards the Quantum Computing frontier. We're an undergraduate-run club bridging the gap between students, the quantum industry, and academia. We focus on enriching the UC Berkeley community through subgroups, seminars, conferences, research projects, guest speakers, lab tours, company visits, and the occasional DeCal.

Our goal is to help you learn what quantum is all about and get interested students involved with quantum labs on campus, while providing research opportunities and educational materials to foster an advanced, accessible quantum computing network.

Membership is open to Berkeley students of all grade levels, majors, and colleges. If you're interested in joining, please apply during our recruitment cycle and check the dates above for info sessions and application deadlines. Not a Cal student? You're still welcome — explore our educational resources and contribute tutorials or articles to our library. We're dedicated to supporting students from all backgrounds, especially those from underrepresented groups in STEM.
